The KM Chart Awards returns for its second edition this summer!
After making its successful debut last year as the Universal Superstar Awards, the ceremony has been rebranded as the KM Chart Awards (KMA). The second edition of KM Chart Awards 2025 will take place on July 11, the venue and other details are yet to be announced.
It is being held for the second time as a unique awards show that tracks and honors genuine success across all genres of Korean music. Organized by KM Chart, a platform known for its reliable music data, these awards stand out by using actual chart performance combined with fan input to determine winners.
The KM Chart Awards made a successful debut last year at Kyunghee University’s Peace Hall in Seoul. Lee Chan Won and singer Kwon Eunbi hosted the ceremony, which featured popular artists like NCT’s Taeyong, trot singer Young Tak, indie band Lucy, ballad duo MeloMance, and rising stars Chuu, PLAVE, and FIFTY FIFTY.
Building on last year’s success, the 2025 KM Chart Awards (KMA) is set to return with exciting upgrades. This year’s ceremony promises bigger and better experiences, featuring more diverse performances, special events for global fans, and a spotlight on rising artists.
KM Chart CEO, Yoon Seong Bin, said, “2025 KMA will be more than just an awards ceremony; it will be a cultural festival created together by K-pop fans around the world. We are preparing a stage where artists and fans from all walks of life can come together this year, so please look forward to it and show your support.”
Meanwhile, KMA 2025 will be held in Korea on July 17, the lineup, venue, and ticket details will be announced sequentially.
