K-pop idols Ok Taecyeon and Seohyun may soon take on leading roles in a highly anticipated webtoon adaptation!
Ok Taecyeon and Seohyun are reportedly in final talks to star as the lead characters in the upcoming drama The First Night with the Duke (working title), as reported by Xports News on July 26.
The First Night with the Duke is a romance fantasy drama based on a popular web novel and webtoon by author Hwang Do-tol. The drama is set in the Joseon Dynasty and will blend historical elements with fantasy and romance
The story follows a supporting character who becomes possessed by the main character and unexpectedly spends a night with the male lead. As the male and female leads navigate their emotional connection, they find themselves falling in love.
Ok Taecyeon has established himself as a talented actor with diverse roles in Vincenzo, Heartbeat, Save Me, Dream High, and more. He is set to appear in the new drama, Soulmate, opposite Hayato Isomura and movie Grande Maison Paris, scheduled to release in winter 2024.
Likewise, Seohyun has impressed everyone with her acting skills in Song of the Bandits, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo, Private Lives, and Jinxed at First.
