K-pop group MIRAE has announced their disbandment after just three years together. The group, formed in 2021, has decided to go their separate ways.
On July 9, It was reported by TV Report that the group had disbanded, ending their beautiful three-year journey.
MIRAE, a seven-member boy group, made their debut in March 2021 with a lineup consisting of Lee Jun Hyuk, Lian, Yoo Do Hyun, Khael, Son Dongpyo, Park Si Young, and Jang Yubin.
The group generated significant buzz, especially with the inclusion of Son Dongpyo, a former contestant on Mnet’s Produce X 101 and a former member of X1.
After their debut in March 2021, the group released multiple single albums and EPs including Killa (2021) and Splash (2021), Sugar Rocket, Phantasy (2022), Marvelous (2022), and Future Perfect (2022).
MIRAE debuted under DSP Media, a prominent agency known for managing K-pop acts including Young Posse, KARD, April, KARA, Fin.K.L, SS501, and more.
Lastly, as per the reports, MIRAE members have decided to pursue their individual careers. Son Dongpyo, however, will remain with DSP Media and continue his solo activities under the agency’s management.
