Shin Min Ah and Kim Nam Hee are teaming up for a new thriller film, which is currently in production.
On July 12, AM Entertainment informed Dispatch that the Our Blues actress is currently on set filming the upcoming thriller movie Eyes (literal title), directed by Yeom Ji Ho.
Rookie Director Yeom recently gained recognition for his work on Next Door, which earned him two awards at the 2022 Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival.
Kim Nam Hee has been tapped to star alongside Shin Min Ah in the highly anticipated thriller.
He is set to appear in his third film, Eyes, which marks his first collaboration with Shin Min Ah. Following his notable performances in Animal (2014) and Where Would You Like to Go (2023), Kim Nam Hee is expanding his filmography with this new project.
He appeared in Netflix’s Chicken Nugget and MBC’s Our House this year.
The film began production last month in Busan and is expected to wrap up by the end of August.
The movie is being produced by DreamCapture, a production company known for its work on several notable films, including Pacemaker (2011), Hide and Seek (2013), and The Mimic (2017).
Shin Min Ah’s role in the latest film Eyes is a drastic departure from her recent roles in Our Blues and Our Seasons. This marks a busy year for the actress, with another project, tvN’s No Loss in Love, with the first episode airing on August 26.
Lastly, further details about the movie’s plot and release date have not been announced yet.
