The SHINee member Taemin has officially announced his return to the music scene, dropping new music in August and embarking on a world tour.
The 31-year-old K-pop idol held Never-Never fanmeeting at Jangchung Gymnasium in Seoul on July 13-14. This was his first event after joining Big Planet Made Entertainment and parting ways with SM Entertainment.
He held this special event for the first time in over a year to connect with fans and celebrate his birthday on July 18.
Following the conclusion of his 4th fan meeting on July 14, the Guilty singer surprised fans by releasing a spoiler video that revealed exciting news: his 5th mini album is set to drop in August, accompanied by a highly anticipated world tour.
He made his comeback with 4th EP Guilty on October 30, 2023, this latest comeback is happening 10 months after his last release.
Taemin kicked off his fanmeeting with the songs I Think It’s Love and Blue, followed by a string of his hit singles, including The Rizzness, MOVE, Light, WANT, and Guilty.
Later, he fulfilled fan requests by singing their favorite songs. In one of the segments at the fanmeeting, Taemin and his team took on various challenges, including soccer ball juggling, a K-pop dance-off, and a three-part aegyo (cute expression) challenge.
Lastly, Taemin is closer to meeting his fans globally, and he plans to maintain a strong connection with them through a variety of upcoming content releases.
