PSY’s highly-anticipated ‘Summer Swag’ concert, which was canceled one hour into the performance, has been rescheduled to next month.
On July 25, P NATION, PSY’s agency, announced a new date for the previously canceled ‘PSY Summer Swag – Soaked Show 2024 concert.
The show, which was originally scheduled for July 20 at the Seoul Grand Park Parking Plaza in Gwacheon but was called off due to inclement weather, will now take place on August 31 at the same venue.
Holders of original tickets for the canceled concert can attend the rescheduled event on August 31, with no additional booking required. Alternatively, those who cannot attend the re-scheduled performance will be eligible for a full refund.
The PSY’s Soaked Show concert, held at the Seoul Grand Park Parking Plaza in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province on July 20, was abruptly halted due to severe weather conditions.
Despite starting as scheduled, the performance was forced to stop approximately 50 minutes in, as heavy rain and strong gusts of wind caused stage lights to fall.
The Gangnam Style rapper quickly ended the concert for the safety of the audience and crew members. He, later, shared that he had not seen such dangerous weather conditions in his 24-year career.
