Taemin, the SHINee heartthrob, has always been a trendsetter when it comes to fashion.
More recently, rumors circulated that he is about to take his passion to the next level with a clothing brand of his own.
On August 23, his agency, Big Planet Made Entertainment, denied rumors that the 31-year-old SHINee member is launching his own clothing brand.
In a statement, the agency explained that Taemin had designed a special t-shirt as a gift for his fans while preparing for his upcoming 5th mini album ETERNAL. The t-shirts are being given away through a raffle at an exhibition in Seoul. The agency clarified that the clothes were a one-time gesture of appreciation from Taemin to his fans after his agency transfer, and not part of a larger fashion brand launch.
The confusion arose when a third-party company mistakenly uploaded images of the t-shirts, which led to speculation about a clothing line.
The clothing manufacturer has apologized to Taemin and his agency for the mistake.
On the work front, Taemin released his solo 5th mini-album ETERNAL on August 19. He will kick off her first world tour Ephemeral Gaze in Incheon on August 31 to September 1 followed by Kuala Lumpur (September 7), Taipei (September 14), Tokyo (September 21-23), and more.
