K-pop legend PSY is standing by BTS’ SUGA amid drunk driving controversy.
The Gangnam Style singer publicly showed his support for the BTS rapper at his recent Summer Swag concert.
On August 25, PSY closed his ‘Soaked Show’ at the Suwon World Cup Stadium with the hit song THAT THAT.
Before singing, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for BTS’ SUGA, saying, “I want to express my gratitude to SUGA who produced this song and worked with me.”
THAT THAT is a song by PSY that came out in 2022, with production by SUGA, who also contributed a rap verse and appeared in the music video.
Currently, SUGA is being investigated by police for drunk driving an electric scooter. In light of this, PSY publicly voiced his support for SUGA.

On August 23, SUGA appeared at the Yongsan Police Station in Seoul for questioning about his drunk driving incident. With a bowed head, he told the press that he was deeply sorry for letting everyone down. He issued another apology on August 25, this time in a handwritten note.
