Wonho, the former member of MONSTA X, has completed his mandatory military service today!
On September 4, the 31-year-old K-pop star expressed gratitude to fans via his agency HIGHLINE Entertainment.
Wonho shared, “Because I couldn’t meet my fans, WENEE (official fandom name), it felt like an eternity. Even though I worked hard every day, I didn’t forget about WENEE for a single day.”
He continued, “I will make precious memories with WENEE, who have waited for me, and I will repay them with an even better appearance. I missed you so much, thank you for being by my side, and let’s create good days together.”
After nearly two years of serving as a social worker, Wonho completed his military duty on September 4. This marks the end of his approximately 1 year and 9 months of alternative military service, which began on December 5, 2022.
After rising to fame as a member of MONSTA X in 2015, Wonho parted ways with the group in 2019 and has since successfully pursued a solo music career.
