Yeonjun is set to become the first TXT member to go solo!
After multiple spoilers, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced Yeonjun’s first mixtape titled GGUM on September 9 at midnight.
In the newly released teaser image, a colorful and playful animated character is shown chewing a piece of gum with an edgy look on his face.
On September 7, the label released the intro film for the mixtape, however, the title of the mixtape was not revealed.
The intro film presents a darker, edgier side of the artist, set against the vibrant backdrop of city streets. His introspective performance hints at a mixtape that explores the complexities and struggles of youth.
The 24-year-old TXT member also spoiled his solo debut on RUN Jin, where he appeared as a special guest on September 3.
Yeonjun released his first-ever OST, Boyfriend, for the drama Cinderella at 2 AM this month as well.
Being an all-rounder idol, K-pop fans are looking forward to seeing him shine with his solo debut.
MOAs and K-pop fans have been waiting eagerly for the release of his solo mixtape. They would not have to wait long as the mixtape release is just around the corner.
Lastly, Yeonjun will release the mixtape GGUM on all music streaming platforms on September 19.
