ILLIT is gearing up for the October release!
As previously speculated, the group will be making their first comeback next month.
ILLIT, known for their consecutive hits like Magnetic and Lucky Girl Syndrome, is set to secure the coveted ‘Rookie of the Year’ title with their upcoming release.
According to a music industry insider on September 10, the group has confirmed their comeback schedule for early next month and is currently finalizing the details.
My Daily has reported that the group has recently wrapped up filming their music video, and fans are eagerly awaiting their return.
ILLIT, dubbed ‘HYBE’s youngest group’, is set to make their first comeback since debuting on March 25. Consisting of members, Yoona, Minju, Mocha, Wonhee, and Iroha, they shattered multiple records with their debut mini-album, Super Real Me.
ILLIT’s debut album was a groundbreaking success, both domestically and internationally. With the involvement of HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si Hyuk, the group’s debut single made history by entering the US Billboard Hot 100 and UK Official Singles Top 100 charts – a feat never achieved by a K-pop debut song before.
Additionally, Magnetic achieved the fastest 100 million streams on Spotify for a K-pop group debut. It swept the top spots on major domestic music streaming sites, earning a ‘perfect all-kill’.
It was the most streamed K-pop song in the first half of 2024.
Recently, they announced their new fandom name GLLIT after receiving backlash for their previous fandom name, LILLY.
Lastly, BELIFT LAB is scheduled to announce more details about their upcoming release at a later date.
