On October 31, JTBC reported that Jeon Yeo Been has been cast as the lead in the upcoming drama “Good Girl Boo Semi!.”
“Good Girl Boo Semi!” is a comical human romance drama that tells the story of a poor bodyguard who dreams of resetting her life. She enters into a three-month contract marriage with a terminally ill conglomerate chairman. As part of the agreement, she must change her identity and survive for three months while avoiding those seeking enormous inheritance.
She plays Boo Semi, a woman who seems perfectly kind and virtuous. However, she has a surprising secret that contradicts her image.
The “Vincenzo” star has a movie “Dark Nuns” coming up with Song Hye Kyo and Lee Jin Wook. Moreover, she is confirmed to star opposite Namgoong Min in the drama “Our Film” where she plays a terminally ill actor.
Further, her movie “Harbin” with Hyun Bin and Lee Dong Wook had its world premiere at TIFF in September. “Harbin” is now gearing up for theatrical release in December.
“Good Girl Boo Semi!” is penned by Hyun Gyu Ri, co-screenwriter of the film “The Night Owl,” and will be produced by Cross Pictures for broadcast on ENA.
