Lee Jong Suk caused a buzz when news emerged in September about his reunion with the director of “W: Two Worlds Apart.”
On November 5, Ace Factory confirmed his appearance in “Seochodong” and reunion with the director Park Seung Woo.
“Seochodong” is a vibrant and inspiring youth drama that follows the lives of lawyers working in Seoul’s prestigious Law Town. Written by a practicing attorney, this drama offers a glimpse into the daily challenges of real lawyers. It shows their personal and professional growth as they navigate everyday cases.
Ahn Joo Hyung, played by Lee Jong Suk, is a seasoned lawyer with nine years of experience. His expertise lies in logical reasoning and analytical skills. Joo Hyung became a lawyer because he enjoyed solving problems, rather than a desire to protect the weak or fight for justice.
He has spent nearly a decade at the same law firm, earning a top-tier salary and establishing himself as a reliable associate. Despite his success, Joo-hyung has no plans to start his own practice, preferring the stability and comfort of his current position. However, his workplace stability is soon disrupted.
“Seochodong” is directed by Park Seung Woo (“Kairos”, “Adamas”, “W: Two Worlds Apart”) and written by lawyer Lee Seung Hyun. Park previously collaborated with Lee Jong-suk on the award-winning “W”.
The drama is set to air on tvN in the first half of 2025
