BTS’ Jin has shared all the perks of working without members!
The 31-year-old singer has been basking in the solo limelight since he was discharged from the military on June 12. He was the first member to transition back to civilian life, with J-Hope following suit on October 17.
On November 5, he appeared as a guest on the YouTube Show “Salon Drip2,” hosted by Jang Do Yeon. Jin appeared on the show to promote his debut album and shared his feelings on promoting solo.
When Jang asked him about performing without BTS members, the “I’ll Be There” singer shared, “I had a hard time because I didn’t know how to fill in the gap. I was so worried about what I should do once I got used to it, I loved it.”
He expressed, “When performing with my members we have a lot of opinions, right? The music and choreography should be like this and stuff, right? Since I am doing it all by myself, I was like “choreography?” “Nope!”
Jin continued, “‘These schedules?’ ‘delete it!’ and added, ‘But the fans want it’ ‘Oh really? Then include them.’”
Fans have been eagerly waiting for BTS’ reunion in 2025 after all members complete military service. While they will make a full-group comeback in 2025, their activities in 2026 are uncertain as HYBE is still discussing with the members.
Meanwhile, Jin is the last BTS member to drop their solo debut album “Happy” on November 15.
