BamBam has officially stepped down as the MC of the YouTube show “Bam House.”
The 27-year-old Thai rapper passed the hosting duties to Natty from KISS OF LIFE.
On November 6, he shared a video message to announce his departure, saying, “This might surprise you, now you will have a new host. Instead of me doing it, I will be passing the job on to someone else. She is so successful as another “Korean Thai” and working so hard. It’s Natty, I am passing my role on to her.”
BamBam and Natty are close friends as both hail from Thailand and have supported each other’s journey in Korea.
The GOT7 rapper started his YouTube show “Bam Show” in January 2023 and nearly two years later, he is stepping down as MC. It is an intimate talk show where he invites guests to his house and has a candid conversation with them.
He interviewed many notable guests including Wendy, Seulgi, Nayeon, Taeyeon, Kwon Eunbi, Ningning, JYP, Jessi, Ten, Sandra Park, Yeonjun, Hwasa, and more.
For the past 5 months, BamBam has not interviewed any guests since he has been busy with his tour, variety shows, and a solo comeback.
His hectic schedule with no time to rest also took a toll on his mental health as he shared concerning messages on social media. Fans were demanding his agency to give him a break since he had repeatedly called out for help.
Fans are thrilled to see Natty take on her new role, and they also hope that BamBam can lighten his workload.
