SEVENTEEN’s subunit BSS (BooSeokSoon) has confirmed their plans for an early 2025 comeback.
It was reported by Sports Donga on November 18 that they are preparing for a unit comeback and have already filmed the music video in Seoul.
Today (November 19), Daily Sports exclusively reported that BSS’ comeback is slated for January 2025. Later, their agency PLEDIS Entertainment confirmed to Dispatch via phone call, stating, “BSS is preparing for a comeback. We will announce the specific schedule once it’s confirmed.”
BSS, comprising Seungkwan, DK, and Hoshi, debuted in 2018 with “Just Do It.” The unit’s name combines one letter from each member’s real name: Boo (Seungkwan), Seok (DK), and Soon (Hoshi).
In February last year, they made a successful comeback with their debut single album “Second Wind”. The title track, “Fighting” (feat. Lee Young Ji), achieved immense popularity and impressive sales figures.
The album sold approximately 610,000 copies in its first week, setting a new record for the highest first-week sales by a K-pop subunit.
“Fighting” (feat. Lee Young Ji) dominated music charts, securing No. 1 spots across various platforms. It was officially selected as the cheering anthem for “Team Korea” at the 2024 Paris Olympics.
Following the success of their last comeback, all eyes are on BSS and what kind of music they will bring to listeners this time.
Plus, 2025 will be a monumental year for SEVENTEEN as they gear up to celebrate their 10 debut anniversary. BSS will kick off 2025 with their comeback featuring catchy and upbeat music.
