It has been reported that Lee Dong Hwi and Jung Ho Yeon have decided to go their separate ways after a nine-year relationship in the public eye.
YTN reported today (November 26) that the couple has ended their long-term relationship. They will be returning to their professional relationship as colleagues now.
According to reports, the long-term celebrity couple have amicably parted ways after 9 years of love and commitment. They publicly acknowledged their relationship in 2016 and occasionally shared affectionate moments at public events.
Lee Dong Hwi’s agency told Dispatch on November 26, “The two recently broke up.” Jung Ho Yeon’s agency, Saram Entertainment, also stated, “They have decided to remain as good colleagues.”
In a media interview, the 30-year-old actress revealed that her partner, Lee Dong Hwi, was “proud” of her after his global success in “Squid Game”.
Lee Dong Hwi recently starred in the drama “Chief Detective 1958” in May. He is also set to appear in the variety show “Rented in Finland” with Cha Eunwoo, Kwak Dong Yeon, and more.
Jung Ho Yeon, a former model, rose to stardom with her breakout role in Season 1 of “Squid Game”. She recently made her Hollywood debut in Apple TV+’s “Disclaimer” last month. She is also set to work with Theo James in the new thriller “The Hole,” directed by Kim Jee Won.
