A fun legal drama is hitting the TV screens next year featuring an all-star cast!
Lee Jong Suk, Moon Ga Young, Kang Yoo Seok, Ryu Hye Young, and Im Sung Jae are confirmed to appear in “Seochodong” (literal title).
“Seochodong” is a brand-new drama coming to tvN in the first half of 2025. This gripping legal office drama follows the lives of associate lawyers working at different law firms in the same Seochodong building.
It is a heartwarming drama about young lawyers finding their way in life. The show follows five friends, played by Lee Jong Suk, Moon Ga Young, Kang Yoo Seok, Ryu Hye Young, and Im Sung Jae, who work at different law firms in Seoul’s Seocho-dong district. Despite the high-stakes world of law, they find joy and support in their daily lunch meetings together.
Lee Jong Suk stars as Ahn Joo Hyung, a highly experienced associate lawyer with 9 years under his belt. Unusually, he has stayed loyal to one company and is the longest-serving lawyer at the firm.
Moon Ga Young stars as Kang Hee Ji, a passionate and idealistic first-year associate lawyer. With a strong desire to make a difference, Kang believes that changing one life can change the world. Viewers can look forward to Moon Ga Young bringing warmth and charm to the role of Kang Hee Ji, a kind-hearted and compassionate young lawyer.
Kang Yoo Seok plays Jo Chang-won, the lively and talkative organizer of the group’s dinner gatherings. As a free-spirited rapper, Jo adds a burst of joy to the bustling streets of Seocho-dong. His carefree personality makes even the daily grind feel like a fun social outing.
Ryu Hye Young plays Bae Moon Jung, the leader of the dinner group. She is a driven and ambitious lawyer with a softer side.
Im Sung Jae portrays Ha Sang Gi, a self-centered lawyer who prioritizes work and money. He’s also a food enthusiast, running a blog called ‘Lawyer’s Table’.
