GOT7 is busy preparing for an early 2025 comeback now that all members are back in the spotlight.
However, it is not surprising at all as the group members have been hinting at their 2025 reunion after a while.
On November 30, a Kmedia outlet OSEN exclusively reported that GOT7 is working on new music for their full-group comeback.
As per reports, the group is currently in the recording stage and finalizing details. While a specific comeback date is still being discussed, sources reveal that the album is slated for release at the end of January 2025.
More recently, Jay B and Jinyoung completed their mandatory military service and resumed their activities. Jay B was discharged from the military on November 1 and dropped a solo album “Archive 1: [Road Runner]” on November 27.
Jinyoung, who was discharged from the military on November 7, is currently filming a drama “Unknown Seoul” with Park Bo Young.
On the other hand, Yugyeom released his first solo full-length album ‘TRUST ME’ and is currently touring domestically and internationally.
BamBam’s third mini-album ‘BAMESIS’ was released in August and he has been working tirelessly ever since. The Thai K-pop star has been appearing on various entertainment shows and touring various regions.
Youngjae wrapped up his Asia tour and Japanese fan meeting, and stepped down as DJ for MBC FM4U’s ‘Youngjae’s Close Friend’ after 2 years and 8 months.
GOT7 members are gearing up for their second comeback since joining new agencies after 3 years. After releasing their mini-album ‘GOT7’ in May 2022, the group is now preparing for a full-group comeback.
With JAY B and Jinyoung back from military service, Jackson Wang and Mark have also returned to Korea to record songs for their album. All eyes are on whether the long-awaited announcement about their comeback album will be made.
