Gong Min Jung and Jang Jae Ho, a South Korean celebrity couple, have welcomed a new addition to their family.
On January 7, Fantagio announced the news, stating, “Gong Min Jung gave birth to a daughter on January 2. Both the mother and baby are healthy. They are resting comfortably surrounded by the warm care of their family.”
The 38-year-old actress also shared her feelings on becoming a mother, saying, “It is mysterious and moving to know that a tiny precious life has come to us. Now that I am a mother, I have great respect for all the mothers in the world. I would like to thank everyone who has encouraged and congratulated us.”
Gong Min Jung and Jang Jae Ho previously starred together as a married couple in the tvN drama “Marry My Husband”, which concluded in February 2024. The two, who had been friends, developed romantic feelings for each other during filming and eventually got married in September 2024.
Gong announced her pregnancy in December last year at the production briefing for KBS Joy’s drama ‘Sorry Not Sorry. The couple welcomed their daughter four months after tying the knot in September.
