GOT7’s Jinyoung and Roh Jeong Eui are brewing a magical romance in their highly-anticipated drama “The Witch”, and the release date is finally here.
Channel A’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “The Witch” is a mystery romance that follows the story of Dong Jin and Mi Jeong. Dong Jin sets out to break the curse surrounding Mi Jeong aka “Witch”. She is a magnet for tragedy and has isolated herself from the world.
Channel A’s new Saturday-Sunday drama “The Witch” starring Jinyoung and Roh Jeong Eui is set to premiere on Saturday, February 15.
The drama “Witch” is adapted from Kang Full’s popular webtoon. His notable works include “Moving”, “Light Shop” and “Pain”. The acclaimed director Kim Tae Gyun, known for the thriller film “Dark Figure of Crime”, is at the helm.
The teaser introduces the mysterious romance between Dong Jin and Mi Jeong. In a flashback, high school student Dong Jin notices Mi Jeong, a girl shrouded in strange rumors. After a classmate’s accident, rumors spread that Mi Jeong is cursed. Years later, Dong Jin, now a successful data miner, reunites with Mi Jeong.
Park Jinyoung’s schedule has been packed since his military discharge, juggling GOT7’s comeback and filming for “Unknown Seoul“. He has proven his acting skills in “The Devil Judge” and “Yumi’s Cells.”
On the other hand, Roh Jeong Eui is known for her roles in “Hierarchy”, “Our Beloved Summer”, “18 Again”, and more. She is set to star in exciting dramas such as “Crushology 101” and “Pig Pen”.
