K-pop group THE BOYZ is gearing up for a comeback this March with their 3rd album, “Unexpected”!
The 11-member boy group has officially confirmed their return to the music scene under the new agency ONE HUNDRED. This marks an exciting new chapter in their musical journey.
On February 24 at midnight (Korean time), ONE HUNDRED dropped the first teaser for their 3rd album “Unexpected” on all social media platforms.
Earlier this month, THE BOYZ hinted at their March comeback “The B Land” in Seoul. Their comeback album “Unexpected” was released approximately 4 months after their last single “Last Kiss”.
Their 7th special single “Last Kiss” was their final release under IST Entertainment. THE BOYZ’s contract with IST expired on December 5. Now, the group has signed with ONE HUNDRED and continues their musical journey with the new agency.
They will drop their first comeback album “Unexpected” after moving to ONE HUNDRED. However, that’s not the only reason this comeback is special as THE BOYZ leader Sangyeon will enlist next month.
He will begin his mandatory military service as a member of the Army band on March 17, the first THE BOYZ member to enlist. This will be the final time for a while that fans get to see all 11 members of THE BOYZ together, performing and promoting as a complete unit.
In the coming months, additional members will join, and group activities will be temporarily paused.
Meanwhile, THE BOYZ will drop their 3rd album “Unexpected” on March 13 at 6 PM KST.
