BTS’ j-hope is on a roll!
Don Toliver and Speedy’s latest single “LV Bag” (feat. j-hope, Pharrell Williams) has landed on the Billboard HOT 100 chart. This marks the fifth time the BTS rapper has entered the chart as a solo artist.
According to the latest Billboard chart revealed on March 3 (local time), “LV Bag” with j-hope of BTS as the featured artist debuted at #83 on the prestigious Billboard HOT.
In addition, “LV Bag” has made a strong debut on various Billboard charts:
- Billboard Global 200: #48
- Billboard Global Excl. US: #43
- Hot Rap Songs: #15
- Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs: #27
- Rap Digital Song Sales: #3
“LV Bag” is a collaboration single by Don Toliver and Speedy, featuring j-hope and Pharrell Williams. The song made its debut at Louis Vuitton’s Men’s 25F/W fashion show on January 21. It was officially released a month after its debut at PFW on February 21.
With this, j-hope became the K-pop rapper with the most entries on HOT 100 (5 songs). He is followed by fellow rapper and bandmate Suga aka Agust D, who charted 4 songs on the aforesaid chart.
Previously, he earned coveted spots on Billboard HOT 100 with singles “On the Street” (#60), “Chicken Noodle Soup” (#81), “MORE” (#82), and “Arson” (#96).
After enlisting in the military in April 2023, j-hope completed his service as an active-duty soldier and assistant instructor. He was officially discharged in October last year.
Following his return to music, the 31-year-old rapper kicked off his solo world tour, “HOPE ON THE STAGE“, with three concerts at the KSPO Dome in Seoul’s Olympic Park from February 28-March 2. In the coming days, he will kick off his North American leg of the world tour and release a new song “Sweet Dreams” ft. Miguel.
Meanwhile, j-hope is set to appear on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on March 10.
