Despite all members having completed their military service, it has become a rare treat for fans to see SHINee reunite or participate in group activities together.
Members Minho and Key are managing activities with SM Entertainment while Taemin and Onew have signed with different agencies.
The wait is finally over for fans, as SHINee will come together again in May for a special 3-day concert.
On March 10, SM Entertainment announced that ‘SHINee WORLD Ⅶ [E.S.S.A.Y] (Every Stage Shines Around You)’, will take place from May 23 to 25 at the KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Olympic Park.
The upcoming concert will feature all four members, Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin, reuniting on stage. This special performance ‘SHINee WORLD Ⅶ [E.S.S.A.Y] (Every Stage Shines Around You)’ follows their 15th-anniversary celebrations, which included a fan meeting in 2023 and an encore concert in 2024. Notably, SHINee chose to celebrate their debut anniversary on May 25 with their loyal fanbase.
Fans were disappointed when their group performance at SM Entertainment’s 30th-anniversary concert was canceled in January. The concert featured performances by nearly all SM Entertainment artists including Kangta, TVXQ!, Super Junior, aespa, Red Velvet, NCT, and more.
Minho and Key took to the stage, however, their bandmates Taemin and leader Onew were noticeably absent from the concert. It was speculated that the reason for their absence was due to Taemin and Onew not being signed under SM Entertainment. Later, Onew’s agency Griffin Entertainment called out SM Entertainment for cancelling the group performance.
In March 2024, all four members renewed the group contract with SM Entertainment and showed their commitment to continuing group activities.
Meanwhile, ticket sales for SHINee’s concert ‘SHINee WORLD Ⅶ [E.S.S.A.Y] (Every Stage Shines Around You)’ will be conducted through Melon Ticket. The fan club pre-sale will open on March 18 at 8 PM, and general sales will follow on March 20 at 8 PM.
