K-pop is taking over at Lollapalooza 2025!
On March 18, the organizers announced the star-studded lineup and K-pop fans are in for a treat.
JYP Entertainment’s popular girl group TWICE will headline the festival alongside other international sensations like Olivia Rodrigo and Tyler, the Creator, Sabrina Carpenter, Rüfüs Du Sol, Luke Combs, A$AP Rocky, Korn, Gracie Abrams, and Doechii.
Besides TWICE, other K-pop acts KickFlip, KATSEYE, BOYNEXTDOOR, wave, and Xdinary Heroes will take the stage at Grant Park in Chicago from July 31 to August 3. Other artists scheduled to perform include Clairo, Dominic Fike, La Femme, Young Miko, Salute, Zoe Ko, Jesse Detor, DJ Heather, and more.
As stated earlier, TWICE is set to headline the iconic Lollapalooza Chicago music festival. They will perform in front of a massive crowd of around 115,000 people.
Lollapalooza, which began in Chicago in 1991, has grown into a global music festival phenomenon. Now, events are held in the US, France, Germany, Chile, Brazil, and more. This year’s lineup is packed with talented artists, including Olivia Rodrigo, Tyler, the Creator, and Gracie Abrams.
On the other hand, it is remarkable that JYP Entertainment’s newest K-pop boy group KickFlip joined the lineup just two months after their debut. The 7-member boy band debuted in January, and two months later, they got invited to one of the major music festivals worldwide.
Xdinary Heroes will make their first appearance at the iconic large-scale Lollapalooza Chicago by the end of the summer. The boy band has established themselves as a “performance powerhouse” with successful concerts and tours. They are expected to bring their high-energy rock sound to Lollapalooza Chicago and captivate the audience.
KATSEYE, a girl group by HYBE and Geffen Records, will also take the stage at 2025 Lollapalooza. They debuted last year and took the music world by storm with their hit song “Touch”.
Last but not least, BOYNEXTDOOR and wave are swooning audiences with their music. They will perform their newest hits at the upcoming music festival.
Meanwhile, the pre-sale of tickets for Lollapalooza 2025 will begin on Thursday, March 20 at 10 am CT. The four-day music festival will be held at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois from July 31 to August 3.
