In a touching gesture to his fans, BTS member SUGA aka Min Yoongi, recently penned a heartfelt note as he prepared to embark on his mandatory military service. The emotional letter, shared on Weverse, expressed SUGA’s love for ARMY.
As announced earlier, SUGA was set to begin his mandatory service on September 22. Finally, the day has come, the Daechwita singer begins his mandatory service today. Before embarking on this new journey, the Snooze singer took to Weverse to greet fans one last time before enlisting for military service.
The note BTS’ SUGA shared on Weverse said ‘The time has come! I will come back after finishing my military service faithfully.’ Further, he greeted his fans saying ‘I was able to safely come this far thanks to ARMYs.’
The Haegeum singer advised fans to stay healthy as the season is changing to a chilly autumn. He finished his message by saying ‘Let’s meet again in 2025! ARMY, I am always thankful and love you.’
Other BTS members, Jin and Jhope already began their mandatory military service and BIGHIT MUSIC announced that SUGA would be the third one to enlist in the military.
The BTS rapper wrapped up his successful D-Day tour and announced the termination of the postponement of military service after the solo tour concluded.
SUGA of BTS is enlisted as the social agent which means he would be spending 21 months in the military. As announced by the agency, no official events will be taking place on the day SUGA enlists. Also, BIGHIT MUSIC requested fans to respect SUGA’s privacy and not visit him at his workplace.
