Actress Seol In Ah (Seorina) has temporarily stepped back from filming tvN’s variety program Iron Girls 2 after suffering an injury during production.
On August 5, a representative from the Iron Girls production team confirmed the news, “Seol In Ah felt discomfort in her ankle during filming and was taken to the hospital.”
After medical examination, it was determined that there was no bone damage, but she was advised to rest and undergo physiotherapy due to ongoing discomfort.
“She is currently recovering after being advised to undergo physical therapy and take rest,” the show’s representative added.
In addition, they stated, “There are no issues with her bones, but since the discomfort persists, we plan to monitor her condition and proceed with treatment and recovery.”
The production team emphasized that Seol In Ah’s health is their priority and said further filming would resume only after she is fully stable. They also stated they will take necessary follow-up measures depending on her condition in the coming days.
Iron Girls 2 is the second season of tvN’s reality show featuring female celebrities taking on the challenge of boxing. This season stars Uee, Geum Sae Rok, Park Ju Hyun, and Seol In Ah. It documents their physical and emotional journey as they train to become boxers.
The program highlights the cast’s intense dedication, teamwork, and personal growth as they push their limits in the ring.
Following the conclusion of its first season last year, Iron Girls returned with a new season that began airing in July, with scheduled broadcasts every Friday at 8:40 PM KST on tvN.
Seol, known for her roles in dramas such as Business Proposal, The Divorce Insurance, and Oasis, joined the cast of Iron Girls in 2024.
tvN and the Iron Girls team reiterated that her health comes first and promised to provide updates on her status as needed.
On the work front, Seol In Ah more recently starred in fantasy drama, Oh My Ghost Client, with Jung Kyung Ho, which wrapped on June 28.
