After completing military service in June, whispers are that the BTS maknae will make his solo comeback and world tour by the end of this year. All members will wrap up solo activities by spring 2026, as BTS activities begin after that.

Early Years (2013–2015)
Jungkook’s desire for solo performances began long before BTS became a global name.
In his early days as a K-pop idol in 2013, he said:
When I become successful as BTS, I want to invite my fans and hold a solo concert or event!
Two years later, he expressed his desire for a solo stage:
I want my own solo stage too. I want my first solo stage to be in a concert and to do a song that can show off my vocal skills. Wait and see guys, I could have my solo stage next time.
Even then, he wasn’t just talking about short performances; he was envisioning something personal and musically ambitious.
2020-2022
By 2020, BTS was a global phenomenon, and Jungkook’s comments reflected a shift from dreaming to planning. In an interview, he said,
I hope I get to the point where I can perform alone for three or four hours in a venue full of people.

During his promotional interview with Ryan Seacrest, he expressed his wish to hold a solo tour.
Fans also spotted an Easter egg in the “Standing Next to You” music video, a poster reading “JK WORLD TOUR”, which fueled even more speculation.
All the Clues Pointing to Jungkook Solo Tour
With BTS completing military service in June 2025, rumors of a Jungkook tour have exploded. But the rollout has been anything but typical.
Soundcat revealed golden custom in-ear monitors for Jungkook in July, a move BTS members have made before starting solo tours. He returned to Instagram with his patented logo, which fans read as part of a solo era rebrand.
A Ticketmaster artist page for Jungkook appeared, though no dates have been announced.
Leaked “tour schedules” listing 20 countries went viral but were quickly debunked. Venue scouting rumors in Mexico and Indonesia have circulated without confirmation.
Some fans have grown impatient, even staging protest trucks outside HYBE to urge him to “go solo now.” Others say the timing is strategic, with the possibility that Jungkook’s tour will be coordinated alongside BTS’s group comeback schedule.
This isn’t the first time Jungkook has spoken about touring solo, but 2025 is the first time the clues have been this tangible. The combination of new branding and professional tour gear makes fans feel that the announcement is near.
