Stray Kids reached a new career high when their fourth studio album KARMA surpassed three million sales within its debut week.
As per Hanteo Chart, KARMA, released on August 22, sold around 3.03 million copies between August 22 and 28. This makes KARMA the first album in 2025 to surpass three million sales in its opening week. The album sold more than two million units on its very first day.
Plus, this gives Stray Kids the distinction of being the only artist to reach this achievement so far. The album also secured the top spot on Hanteo’s Weekly Physical Album Chart as well as Circle Chart’s Weekly Album and Retail Album Charts.
On Spotify, KARMA set the 2025 record for highest streams in a single day and across the first week for a K-pop artist. The lead single CEREMONY, additionally ranked as the most streamed K-pop boy group track during its first release week in 2025.
The song debuted at No. 27 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart with over 2.52 million streams and stayed on the list for six consecutive days, the longest run for a K-pop boy group track this year.
From August 22 to 24, KARMA ranked second on the Global Top Album Debut Chart, while CEREMONY secured second place on the Global Top Song Debut Chart.
Several B-sides also entered the Top 10, including Bleep, CREED, In My Head, MESS, Phoenix, Ghost, and Half Time. This gave Stray Kids an unprecedented eight songs in the global Top Song Debut rankings simultaneously.
Stray Kids, who recently surpassed 20 million followers on Spotify, are also seeing growing success in the UK. Their latest track placed sixth on the UK Official Trending Chart, which indicates that the group may break into the Official Albums Chart Top 10 for the first time.
To celebrate the album’s success, Stray Kids are releasing a special remix version titled CEREMONY (Celebrate Remixes) today at 1 PM.
