Three out of seven BTS members, V, RM, and Jungkook, are confirmed to be back in Korea. While Jungkook is celebrating his 28th birthday today, V and RM attended the opening of the Frieze Seoul art fair on September 1.
The duo, along with multiple Korean celebs, such as Rowoon, Eric Nam, Lee Jong Won, and more, were spotted at the Paradise Art Night.
V drew attention with a custom-made JayBaek Couture jacket, designed exclusively for the event by Baek Ji Hoon. The label, noted for its haute couture tailoring, has dressed leading actors including Hyun Bin and Jo In Sung, and has a history with BTS, having created their Grammy Awards looks in 2019.
V’s stylist confirmed the jacket was crafted specifically for Paradise Art Night, featuring subtle “V” embroidery. While V walked the red carpet, RM was also part of the event. However, the BTS leader did not give press interviews or walk the red carpet.
It was surprising that he was there, given his fondness for art and exhibitions. Dressed casually, he mingled with the guests and even took selfies with V.
More importantly, during the event, the “Winter Ahead” singer also celebrated Jungkook’s birthday, telling fans, “Today is Jungkook’s birthday, so please keep the focus all on him.”
Fans were excited to see V and RM together, and it seems they have taken some time off from comeback preparations for solo activities. After concluding military service, the group is working tirelessly on their group album with top producers in the US.
Meanwhile, Paradise Art Night is the opening-night celebration that kicks off Frieze Week Seoul. This year (Mon, Sept 1, 2025 KST), it was hosted at Paradise City (Incheon) and paired a preview of American artist Joel Mesler’s show at Paradise Art Space with a special performance by Paris Opera Ballet étoiles Hugo Marchand and Hannah O’Neill.
Frieze Seoul 2025 runs from September 3 to 6 at COEX in Gangnam. The fair, now in its fourth year, brought together more than 120 galleries from over 30 countries, alongside screenings, performances, and intellectual programs. Running parallel to KIAF SEOUL, it transformed Seoul into an international destination for artists, collectors, and celebrities.
Among the week’s standout occasions was Paradise Art Night, hosted by Paradise City near Incheon Airport. Known for fusing contemporary art, music, and luxury entertainment, the resort showcased its permanent collection of over 3,000 works by global figures such as Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, and Anish Kapoor, alongside celebrated Korean artists like Park Seo Bo and Kim Tschang Yeul.
