Tomorrow X Together (TXT) is stepping beyond the stage to make an impact where it matters most—supporting the mental health of young people worldwide.

On October 1 (KST), the group attended the “Together for Tomorrow” agreement ceremony at UNICEF headquarters in the United States. TXT, who have spent the last six years sharing stories of growth, struggle, and hope through their music, see this partnership as a natural extension of their journey.

The ceremony was attended by UNICEF Executive Director Catherine Russell, Deputy Executive Director Kitty van der Heyden, and UNICEF Korea Secretary General Cho Mi Jin, along with TXT and BIGHIT MUSIC representatives.

At the event, the group reflected on their journey over the past six years. Soobin spoke about how TXT’s music has always told stories of growth, worries, hopes, and fears, and how fans have often said those songs gave them comfort.

Leader Soobin, who spoke on behalf of members, expressed how deeply the group has come to value music as a tool for healing. He shared, “Through our musical journey, we have learnt that expressing emotions is a sign of strength.”

Looking ahead, he added, “Now with our campaign with UNICEF, we want to help create a safe and inclusive space for youth to freely express their emotions.”

Part of his speech was in Korean, Soobin added, “Our team’s name means that you and I, come together under one dream to build a new tomorrow. We want to build a better tomorrow by sharing the dream that we have had and built for so long till now, with you guys.”

He concluded, “Tomorrow X Together’s campaign with UNICEF will officially begin in 2026 so we ask for lots of love and support from you guys as we take this meaningful step forward.”

UNICEF leaders also acknowledged the group’s influence. Kitty van der Heyden noted that TXT’s music plays a big role in supporting children’s mental health globally. She said the campaign could motivate young people to care for themselves while inspiring those around them. Cho Mi Jin added that their voices can remind children everywhere how important it is to look after their mental well-being.

The Together for Tomorrow campaign is built on three main pillars: encouraging open talks about mental health, promoting empathy, and helping young people develop the emotional and social skills they need to succeed.

During the visit, TXT also took time to sit down with 20 young leaders from UNICEF’s global youth network. The talk went from how hard it is for young people to share their feelings to how empathy and understanding can help remove those barriers.

The group is backing up their words with action. Together with BIGHIT MUSIC TXT has pledged US$1.4 million (about ₩1.97 billion) over the next two years to UNICEF’s Global Mental Health Fund.

They also plan to work with fans on additional fundraising activities. The campaign is expected to begin in full next year, with TXT taking part in interactive events, awareness projects, and global advocacy.

TXT is also following in the footsteps of other K-pop stars. Their labelmates BTS launched the groundbreaking LOVE MYSELF campaign with UNICEF in 2017, raising millions and starting a global conversation about ending violence against children.

SM Entertainment, another big K-pop company, has also worked with UNICEF for over ten years, with artists like NCT’s Doyoung, SHINee’s Minho, and EXO’s Suho helping support children in need. More recently, Stray Kids’ Felix is actively working with UNICEF as a goodwill ambassador to support underprivileged children.
