Jin’s First Solo Tour Was a Global Success
Jin’s “RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR” was nothing short of groundbreaking. Kicking off in June in Goyang, South Korea, the tour spanned 18 shows across 9 cities worldwide, including stops in Japan, the United States, and Europe.
From Chiba and Osaka to Anaheim, Dallas, Tampa, Newark, London, and Amsterdam, Jin met fans from all corners of the globe between June 28 and August 10. The tour marked Jin’s triumphant return to the stage after his military discharge in June 2024. It supported his two solo albums:
- “Happy” (November 2024), reflecting his emotions after service
- “Echo” (May 2025), featuring high-energy tracks made with live performances in mind
During the tour, Jin achieved incredible milestones. He became the first Korean soloist to perform at London’s O2 Arena, sold out Anaheim’s Honda Center, and set a new attendance record for a Korean solo artist at Dallas’s American Airlines Center. Fans couldn’t get enough of him, leading to the announcement of this large-scale encore show in Incheon.
What Makes the Incheon Encore Concert Special
According to BIGHIT MUSIC, the Incheon encore concert will feature expanded production and special performances that can only be seen in this final stop. Jin himself is reportedly preparing unique stages to connect more deeply with the larger audience, as the stadium can hold up to 50,000 fans.
The concert will also reflect the playful and heartfelt spirit of Jin’s tour. Inspired by his variety-style show Run Seokjin, the performances are designed not just as concerts, but as interactive fan experiences. Alongside beloved songs like “The Astronaut,” “Moon,” and the viral favorite “Super Tuna,” fans can expect tracks from his solo albums such as “Running Wild,” “Don’t Say You Love Me,” and “Nothing Without Your Love.”
Now that all BTS members are discharged, they are working on their 2026 group album and also keeping fans in the loop about the progress.
