KATSEYE, the global girl group formed by HYBE and Geffen Records, continues its impressive rise in the U.S. pop scene. The six-member group has set another personal record by climbing higher on the Billboard HOT 100 chart.
According to Billboard’s latest chart (dated October 25, 2025), KATSEYE’s track “Gabriela” from the EP “Beautiful Chaos” rose 13 spots from last week to land at No. 41 on the Hot 100, their highest ranking yet. Meanwhile, “Gnarly,” their earlier single from the same EP, re-entered the same chart at No. 98.
This makes them the first group under the HYBE and Geffen partnership to have two songs on the HOT 100 at the same time. It’s a major milestone for a group that only debuted a little over a year ago.
“Gabriela,” which dropped four months ago, and “Gnarly,” released six months back, are both enjoying what fans call a “reverse run.” Both tracks have shown long-term growth fueled by streaming, TikTok virality, and word-of-mouth popularity.
“Gabriela,” a pop track with a Latin-inspired twist and a Spanish-language bridge, has proven to be a breakout hit for KATSEYE. Co-written by Charli XCX, the song creates a feel that is both global and intimate.
On Billboard’s Global 200 chart, “Gabriela” ranked 30th, while on Global (Excluding the U.S.), it placed 27th, maintaining both positions for 17 consecutive weeks. “Gnarly” followed at No. 102 and No. 114, respectively, spending 24 consecutive weeks on both charts.
On the Pop Airplay chart, “Gabriela” remained at No. 17 for two weeks, the group’s highest placement to date. Since first entering the chart at No. 37 in mid-August, the track has steadily climbed for 11 straight weeks.
“Gabriela” also reached No. 38 on the UK Official Singles Chart for the week of October 17–23. On Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global (October 10–16), it ranked #22, and extended its streak to 17 consecutive weeks. Other tracks such as “Gnarly” (No. 108, 24 weeks) and “Touch” (No. 167, 21 weeks) also continue to chart steadily.
KATSEYE was formed through the 2023 global audition project The Debut: Dream Academy, which attracted more than 120,000 applicants from around the world. The final lineup includes Sophia (Filipino-American), Lara (American of Indian descent), Daniela (American with Cuban and Venezuelan heritage), Megan (American), Manon (Swiss), and Yoonchae (Korean). After selection, the group underwent HYBE America’s Training & Development (T&D) program before debuting in the United States.
Earlier this year, KATSEYE performed at Lollapalooza Chicago, drawing an estimated 85,000 attendees, the largest daytime audience in the festival’s history.
The group will begin their first North American headlining tour, The Beautiful Chaos Tour, on November 15, 2025, starting in Minneapolis. The tour will feature 16 performances in 13 cities, including Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City. Due to strong demand, additional shows were added in several cities after pre-sale tickets sold out.
In addition to the tour, KATSEYE is confirmed to perform at the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, one of the world’s largest and most influential music events.
