BTS members Jungkook and Jimin have announced the return of their hit travel variety show, Are You Sure?! Season 2. The first season premiered during their military service in August 2024. This season, the duo will promote the show and talk more candidly about their travel experiences together. Fellow member V made a special appearance during their visit to Jeju Island, so fans can expect an appearance from other BTS members.
Now, Disney+ has announced Are You Sure?! season 2 release date, along with two teaser images of Jungkook and Jimin. Fans won’t have to wait long to see hilariously chaotic moments during their travel to the scenic locations.
Jimin and Jungkook’s ‘Are You Sure?!’ Season 2 Release Date
‘Are You Sure?! 2 featuring Jungkook and Jimin, will begin streaming on December 3, 2025, with a total of eight episodes. The release schedule will follow a weekly format, similar to the first season. Two new episodes will drop every Wednesday till the finale on December 24, 2025.
The release timing is perfect for the holiday season, and gives ARMYs something new to look forward to each week. The show will be available exclusively on Disney+ for global viewers.
A Minimalist Travel Adventure in Switzerland and Vietnam
Filming for Are You Sure?! Season 2 immediately took place soon after both Jimin and Jungkook completed their mandatory military service on June 11. It was their first major project together since returning to civilian life. This time, the pair took on a “minimalist travel” concept to show a simpler and more spontaneous side of their travels.
Over 12 days, Jimin and Jungkook explored two countries—Switzerland and Vietnam. They traveled with only a small backpack, a modest budget, and an old-fashioned travel guide. This setup forced them to rely on their creativity and teamwork to make the most of their trip.
Switzerland provided breathtaking views of the Alps and serene lakes. On the other hand, Vietnam offered vibrant cityscapes, street food, and tropical coastlines. Throughout their journey, the two took part in various games and challenges to earn their travel expenses.
What Made the First Season a Global Hit
The first season of Are You Sure?!, released in 2024, followed Jimin and Jungkook as they traveled to New York state (USA), Jeju Island (South Korea), and Sapporo (Japan). The show became an instant favorite for their chaotic moments that made them really question ‘are you sure?’ Fans especially enjoyed the moments that felt unscripted and real, including their clumsy attempts at winter sports and cooking together in a small guesthouse in Jeju.
The show went on to become the most-watched non-drama, non-English program on Disney+ worldwide for 42 consecutive days. It also set a major record for Korean reality content and was later renewed for season 2.
Now, the second season comes at a very busy time for BTS as they are about to make a bombshell announcement about their tour or album soon. Fans can watch fun content like Are You Sure?! 2 while waiting for their album release in March 2026.
