The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards, one of the biggest film awards in South Korea, is almost here. Many K-movies attracted millions of moviegoers; therefore, there is a lot to look forward to. The awards span 15 competitive categories to celebrate the best in Korean cinema from the past year.

Director Park Chan Wook’s film “No Other Choice” (starring Lee Byung Hun and Son Ye Jin) led the pack with an impressive 12 nominations. Following “No Other Choice,” Yeon Sang Ho’s mystery thriller “The Ugly” secured 10 nominations, and Woo Min Ho’s period drama “Harbin” earned 8 nominations.

46th Blue Dragon Film Awards Date & Venue

The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards ceremony is scheduled to take place on November 19, 2025, at the KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul. The 2025 Blue Dragon Film Awards will be hosted by popular actors Han Ji Min and Lee Je Hoon. 

2025 Blue Dragon Film Awards Nominees

The list of the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards nominees was officially announced on October 20, 2025. This year’s competition is tough and features a mix of emotional dramas, creative thrillers, and unique stories. 

Besides the most nominated films “No Other Choice,” “The Ugly,” and “Harbin,” other notable films such as “My Daughter Is a Zombie” and “Hi-Five” each received six nominations. Here are nominees for the main categories

The final round of online voting is currently open and will continue until November 18, 2025. Fans can cast their votes using the CelebChamp mobile app. Through the app, users can participate in most major categories and also help decide the winner of the Chungjungone Popular Star Award, which is entirely driven by fan votes.

The 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards will air live on KBS2 on November 19, 2025. For those outside Korea, the ceremony will also be available on online streaming platforms. This will allow global fans to watch the red carpet arrivals, award announcements, and performances in real time.
