NCT DREAM members Lee Jeno and Na Jaemin are starring together in their first leading drama series, “Wind Up”. The teaser poster has been released and reveals a story set in the world of high school baseball. The series will premiere on the new short-form content platform KITZ.
“Wind Up” is scheduled to launch with the platform on January 16, 2026. The series will be available starting at 6:00 PM KST, following the platform’s official launch at 10:00 AM KST.
The trailer opens with Jeno saying, “I’m a pitcher who cannot throw strikes.” It also shows how their relationship changes when Jaemin becomes his “baseball manager” and helps him become “Lee Woo Jin 2.0.”
In the drama, Jeno plays Woo Jin, a once-promising high school baseball pitcher who has lost his ability to throw strikes. Jaemin stars as Tae Hee, a transfer student who appoints himself as Woo Jin’s manager. He steps into his life to help him regain his confidence.
The supporting cast includes Lee Jong Hyuk as the baseball coach and Oh Hyun Kyung as Tae Hee’s mother. The drama is directed by Kim Sung Ho, known for his work on Netflix’s “Move to Heaven” and “Bad Prosecutor.” It is produced by TAKEONE COMPANY and SM Entertainment, and filming was completed on October 11, 2025.
“Wind Up” is a coming-of-age sports drama that focuses on the growth and friendship between Woo Jin and Tae Hee. The teaser poster shows the two leads in their baseball uniforms with the tagline, “The dream that was wavering has found its place.”
For Jeno and Jaemin, who are affectionately called “Nomin” by fans, this project marks their first major acting roles together. Although they have appeared in cameos before, “Wind Up” gives them the chance to lead a series.
The drama is also an important launch project for KITZ, a new global platform focused on K-pop and short-form content. “Wind Up” will be the flagship series for the platform and is part of its launch day lineup, which features other star-studded short-form projects.
Fans can look forward to seeing Jeno and Jaemin’s performance when the series premieres on January 16, 2026.
