Sasha, the youngest ifeye member, has announced a temporary hiatus from all activities due to accumulated psychological fatigue.
On January 22, ifeye’s agency, Hi-Hat Entertainment, made the decision in accordance with the advice of medical professionals. The label stated, “After a comprehensive review, including opinions from professional medical institutions, it was determined that Sasha, who has accumulated psychological fatigue, needs sufficient rest.”
They continued, “Sasha will not participate in IVE’s official activities for the time being and will focus on recovery.
Hi-Hat stated that the pause was made after careful discussions with her, adding, “The timing of her return to activities will be decided after carefully monitoring her recovery progress.”
During this time, the 16-year-old idol will focus entirely on her health and will not participate in any official Ifeye promotions or events. The remaining five members, Kasia, Rahee, Won Hwayeon, Taerin, and Meu, will continue group activities.
Hi-Hat Entertainment promised to support Sasha during her recovery and continue to monitor the physical and psychological health of the remaining members.
It is currently unclear how Sasha’s hiatus will affect Ifeye’s near-term schedule, including their first fan concert in Taipei, Taiwan, titled “Blooming Valentine,” which is planned for February 8, 2026.
Sasha’s break comes at a pivotal time for Ifeye, who debuted in April 2025, and have been gaining popularity as a “5th-generation hot rookie” group. They are known for songs like “NERDY,” “Bubble Up,” “r u ok?”, and “Friend Like Me.”
Last year, they performed at the 40,000-seat Taipei Dome. Their title track “r u ok?” made the year-end list of “25 Best K-pop Songs of 2025” by British magazine NME, and they held their first overseas fan signing in Shanghai.
Recently, the group completed promotions for their second mini-album, ‘Sweet Tang’, and is preparing a new album.
