HYBE is taking its premier music festival to India for the first time. New Delhi will host the first international edition of the Weverse Con Festival in March 2027. This marks the first time the event has been held outside South Korea since its launch.
HYBE announced the news on October 7, confirming that its Indian subsidiary, HYBE India, will host the two-day event. The lineup of artists will be revealed later this month.
Weverse Con Festival India 2027 dates and location
Weverse Con Festival India will take place on Saturday, March 27, and Sunday, March 28, 2027, in Delhi-NCR.
The exact venue has not been announced yet. BookMyShow, which is handling ticketing, currently lists the location as Delhi (NCR) and says further details are coming soon.
The festival will run for two days and is expected to combine large-scale performances with interactive fan activities and other experiences inspired by the Weverse fan community.
What Is Weverse Con Festival?
HYBE organizes the Weverse Con Festival as its global annual music fest. It started in 2021 as an online concert called Weverse Con during the pandemic, then moved to an in-person format in 2023. The festival combines live performances with fan experiences, including interactive activities, brand pop-ups, and opportunities for fans to connect with artists.
Past lineups in Korea have featured a mix of HYBE artists and guest performers. In 2023, the festival included TOMORROW X TOGETHER, ENHYPEN, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, and Zico, alongside special guests like XIA and HYOLYN. The 2024 edition brought together SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, and ILLIT, plus outside acts like YOASOBI and 10cm.
What to Expect in India
K-pop acts and Indian musicians will perform together on a single stage for the India leg. HYBE says the festival will feature special collaboration stages that mix both music cultures.
Beyond performances, there will be fan engagement activities and cultural experiences designed around the artist-fan connection that Weverse is known for. The idea is to take the online fandom experience and bring it into the real world.
HYBE CEO Jaesang Lee called the India edition “a new chapter” in the company’s strategy to build localized music ecosystems around the world.
Tickets and Production
Weverse Con Festival India is being jointly produced and promoted by BookMyShow’s live entertainment wing, BookMyShow Live. Fans will be able to purchase tickets only through BookMyShow.
Why India, and Why Now?
HYBE has been steadily building its presence in India. The company established HYBE India in Mumbai in November 2025 as its fifth global headquarters, following the U.S., Japan, Latin America, and China.
Ever since, HYBE has been on the lookout for local talent. Its India auditions drew applicants from 116 countries and 1,650 cities, prompting the company to expand the search to 23 cities. The goal is to form a homegrown Indian girl group using HYBE’s training and development system.
India is also one of the world’s fastest-growing music markets. With roughly 185 million streaming users, it’s the second-largest music streaming market globally. The rise of K-pop in India has made it a key target for HYBE’s global expansion.
