Spotify just announced on their official social media that Jungkook’s solo single Seven reached a whopping 1 billion streams in just 108 days since its release. This is the fastest any song has ever achieved such a milestone in Spotify’s history.

Miley Cyrus’ ‘Flowers’ previously held the record with 1 billion streams in 112 days, but Jungkook’s ‘Seven’ surpassed it by achieving the same milestone in just 108 days.

‘Seven’ was streamed 15,995,378 times as soon as it was released on July 14 and entered first place on Spotify’s ‘Daily Top Song Global‘ chart. This is a new record for the first K-pop solo artist to enter this chart at number one, while also being the first K-pop artist to enter the chart with the highest cumulative number of plays.

In addition, Seven ranked 3rd in the ‘Most Streamed Songs of the Summer of 2023 (Global Standard)‘ released by Spotify. Following Seven, Jungkook released another single titled 3D (feat. Jack Harlow) and a collaboration song with The Kid LAROI and Central Cee, TOO MUCH.
