A Killer Paradox starring Choi Wooshik had a great start on Netflix.
A Killer Paradox made its mark by securing the second spot in Netflix’s non-English TV category during the first week of February (5th to 11th). It garnered a cumulative number of 3.1 million views.
Just three days after its release, the show claimed the top spot. During that time, a whopping 21.9 million hours were streamed across 190 countries worldwide. It ranked #1 based on viewing time.
A Killer Paradox made a splash in Korea, Thailand, and Vietnam by securing the top spot. It also ranked in the top 10 in 19 countries, including Bolivia, India, Qatar, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Malaysia.
A Killer Paradox is an 8-episode thriller based on a webtoon of the same name. It tells the story of an ordinary man who unintentionally becomes a killer, and the detective who is determined to catch him. Director Lee Chang-hee did an amazing job bringing the unique worldview of the original webtoon to life through stylish directing.
Choi Wooshik, Son Suk-gu, and Lee Hee-jun delivered passionate performances in A Killer Paradox. They brought the complex character, who exists on the border between good and evil, to life in three dimensions. It’s no wonder the series received favorable reviews as a ‘show of acting skills’.
It was released on March 9 and is available to watch on Netflix.
