Moonbyul, a member of the group MAMAMOO, is going strong in her 11th year since debuting.
According to Hanteo Chart, which is Korea’s largest album sales statistics site, Moonbyul’s first full-length album Starlit of Muse sold a total of 101,720 copies during its release week (from February 20 to 26). This number exceeds the sales of her previous highest initial release single, C.I.T.T. (Cheese in the Trap).
Starlit of Muse was highly anticipated and it’s Moonbyul’s first full-length album in almost 9 years and 8 months since her debut.
It features 12 tracks, including the double title songs Think About and TOUCHIN&MOVIN. Moonbyul’s musical growth is evident in this album, with two self-composed songs and a wide range of genres, including band music.
Starlit of Muse gained immediate attention on the global album and music charts right after its release. The album exceeded 100,000 pre-orders before the official release. Starlit of Muse and TOUCHIN&MOVIN even reached the top of the iTunes Top Album & Top Song charts in 10 regions worldwide.
