HYBE has set the record straight on many rumors by releasing an official statement on April 25.
The drama surrounding HYBE, ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin, and NewJeans finally seems to be wrapping up.
HYBE previously accused top executives and CEO of ADOR, Min Hee Jin, of a takeover attempt.
As per the latest statement, It was confirmed by HYBE that CEO Min Hee Jin led the development of a plan to acquire management rights and obtained concrete evidence. Consequently, they will be complaining to CEO Min.
As per the audit findings by Hive today, one of the audited parties presented information assets detailing the scheme to acquire management rights and interactions with external investors as evidence during the investigation.
While HYBE is removing Min Hee Jin from the picture but concentrating on protecting NewJeans members. They mentioned that they will prioritize the mental well-being and emotional stability of NewJeans.
HYBE vowed to protect NewJeans and support them for their upcoming comebacks, stating, “We plan to do our best to provide psychological and emotional care for the NewJeans members and support them for a successful comeback in the future.”
The agency revealed they’re discussing different ways to provide the best care to NewJeans, “We also plan to meet with the members’ legal representatives as soon as possible to discuss ways to protect the members.”
HYBE CEO Park Ji Won also issued an apology for the incident and assured that the company would prioritize the protection of NewJeans. He expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to fans, artists, and members during the multi-label upgrade process.
Park Ji Won stated that now that the matter has been resolved, they will focus on supporting the psychological well-being and emotional stability of artists.
