In the latest music video from K-pop group SEVENTEEN, MAESTRO, fans were treated to an epic action sequence that highlighted member Wonwoo’s impressive martial arts skills.

However, what they may not know is that the 27-year-old rapper underwent rigorous training in martial arts to prepare for the intense scene.

Back in February, during one of the livestreams, he revealed taking classes, however, kept the specifics a secret.

Later, after the MV was out, it was revealed that he went to Seoul Action School to learn Martial Arts.

Although Wonwoo’s action scene in the music video is brief, lasting only a few seconds, it has become the hottest topic. Fans are commending his commitment and how well he executed the scene. Some are even suggesting that he should consider trying acting in an action movie or drama.

On another note, since 17 IS RIGHT HERE is Out, the group will be engaging in comeback activities and head to Japan next month for encore concert. Moreover, they’ll be releasing another album this year and kick off fall tour to meet CARATs once again.
