Ever since the news surfaced, ARMYs have been trending various hashtags like ‘South Korea Does not Deserve BTS’ and ‘South Korea Apologize to BTS’ to express their anger.

The fandom opines that it is unfair to launch an investigation considering BTS’ contribution to K-pop.

Previously, a civil complaint was lodged with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism to look into allegations of music hoarding by BTS.

On May 6, Former Vice Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism Park Sun Gyu acknowledged the complaint filed with the Ministry of Culture, Sports, and Tourism regarding suspicions of music hoarding by BTS.

In an interview with Channel A’s current affairs program, Park Sun Gyu shared, “It seems that BTS fans were angry after the complaint was filed with the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism,” and added, “Their anger is seen as affection for BTS.”

Also, the former Vice Minister mentioned that it is hard to guess what the investigation will uncover. However, he stressed how crucial it is for the government to thoroughly look into the allegations.

This way, not only will BTS fans feel reassured, but it’ll also demonstrate that South Korea values fair investigations and just rulings for the group.

A lot of accusations have been aimed at BTS following the HYBE-ADOR conflict. Fans are furious that the group had to endure this after all they’ve done for the country.
