Kep1er fans are worried about the group’s future disbandment, as their contract is set to expire in July 2024.
However, there’s some good news to lift their spirits: their latest Japanese album, Kep1going, is doing extraordinarily well on the charts.
Kep1er achieved a remarkable milestone by topping the Billboard Japan Sales Chart with their debut Japanese full-length album, Kep1going.
Released on May 8, the album secured the number one spot for the counting period of May 6-8.
Kep1er made a strong impact in Japan, selling around 116,000 copies of their debut full-length album Kep1going during the aforementioned tracking period.
Kep1going leads the pack, followed by Kis-My-Ft2’s Synopsis with 101,619 copies sold, and SEVENTEEN’s 17 IS RIGHT HERE taking third place with 38,997 copies sold.
The group has been actively promoting in Japan, releasing three single albums: FLY-UP, FLY-BY, and FLY-HIGH, before dropping their latest album Kep1going.
Lastly, Kep1er performed at KCON Japan and is set to meet fans through various activities.
