Earlier this morning, it was reported that Kep1er will continue group activities without Kang Yeseo and Mashiro.
As reported by a Korean media outlet, 7 members of Kep1er will extend their contracts while Yeseo and Mashiro are set to join LIMELIGHT.
On May 16, 143 Entertainment revealed that a decision has not been made regarding Kang Yeseo and Mashiro’s contract extension.
According to an official from 143 Entertainment, discussions with CJ ENM are ongoing regarding the potential extension of Kang Yeseo and Mashiro’s participation in Kep1er, but no conclusions have been reached yet.
Kep1er, which debuted in 2022, has a planned activity period of 2 years and 6 months, with a scheduled disbandment in July.
However, CJ ENM is seeking to extend the group’s activities.
Notably, Kep1er is expected to continue as a 7-member group, excluding Kang Yeseo and Mashiro, since no agreement has been reached yet.
Lastly, The group will release their full-length album, Kep1going On, on June 3rd.”
