aespa and EXO’s Suho are the latest to join the list, suing the operator of the Taldeok Camp (Sojang) for defamation.

On September 4, SM Entertainment announced that they filed a lawsuit against the operator of the YouTube channel in April. The first trial took place on September 2.

Sojang was hauled into court on defamation charges and other offenses related to online harassment.

During the trial, the YouTube channel operator acknowledged creating the videos but denied the allegations of defamation and obstruction of business. She is accused of uploading 23 defamatory videos targeting celebrities, influencers, and entertainment agencies.

So far, IVE’s Jang Wonyoung, Kang Daniel, BTS’ V and Jungkook, aespa, and EXO leader Suho have filed lawsuits against Sojang.

Sojang has been running a hate campaign online since 2021, spreading false rumors and lies about many celebrities. She has a history of harassing K-pop idols with made-up stories.
