MYs won’t have to wait long as aespa will be making a swift return with fresh music sooner than expected.

As per the music industry sources on March 27, aespa is currently in the final stages of preparing an album aiming for a May comeback. It’s been roughly 6 months since the release of their 4th mini album Drama in November 2023. On January 15th, they released a remake of Seo Taiji and Boys’ A Regret of the Times.

SM Entertainment refused to comment on their comeback date, stating, “It is true that the comeback will be in the second quarter,” and added, “but the exact timing is flexible.”

aespa is reportedly putting all efforts into meeting fans in May instead of pushing back the comeback to June.

Being recognized as one of the leading 4th generation girl groups, global fans already hold high expectations for their upcoming album.

Lastly, aespa will be connecting with fans globally through their second world tour, ‘2024 aespa LIVE TOUR – SYNK: Parallel Line‘, starting with performances in Seoul on June 29 and 30.
