aespa’s ‘Armageddon’ Sells over 500K Copies on First Days, Tops iTunes Album Chart in 25 Regions

aespa has made a triumphant return with their first full-length album Armageddon, and the numbers are speaking for themselves!

Armageddon has sold over 515,554 copies in its first days alone, and the album has also conquered the global charts, topping the iTunes Album Chart in 25 regions.

Armageddon‘s first-day sales saw a slight dip compared to their earlier releases Drama (529,988), Girls (806,891), and MY WORLD (1,372,929).

On the other hand, aespa’s first full-length album,  released on May 27, topped the iTunes Top Album Chart in 25 countries including the US, Australia, Canada, and many more. The full list of countries where ‘Armageddon’ reached number one includes:

  • Mexico
  • Norway
  • New Zealand
  • Brazil
  • Singapore
  • Taiwan
  • Thailand
  • Vietnam
  • Philippines

  • Hong Kong

  • South Africa

Furthermore, the title track Armageddon secured a spot in the top 10 on major domestic music charts like Melon, Bugs, and Genie. The music video has surpassed 9 million views within less than 24 hours of the release. Moreover, the album’s tracks have also made their way into the TOP 100 charts. 

Another title track from the album, Supernova, which was released earlier, achieved a perfect all-kill by topping major domestic charts.
