Prada taps aespa’s Karina as its newest face!
On August 28, the Italian fashion brand Prada announced aespa leader Karina global brand ambassador, in a statement to WWD.
Later, the luxury fashion label shared photos of the 24-year-old K-pop singer along with the caption, “Prada is pleased to announce KARINA, South Korean singer and leader of K-pop group aespa, as Prada’s brand ambassador.”
This announcement was expected as she has been doing promotional photoshoots for Prada for different fashion magazines for the last few months.
In addition, she attended the Prada’s Milan Fashion Week show in January this year. Previously, ENHYPEN, TWICE’s Sana, and actress Kim Tae Ri are already serving as a brand ambassador for the brand.
In addition, Karina was announced face of Yves Saint Laurent Beauty’s ‘Rouge Pur Couture’ lipstick line in December 2023. She also became an ambassador for Converse.
Additionally, she has collaborated with other luxury brands like Givenchy and Chopard alongside her aespa members.
Other aespa members have also collaborated with various global brands: Giselle and NingNing were recently named brand ambassadors for Loewe and Versace, respectively, in early 2024. Winter was appointed ambassador for Ralph Lauren Polo.
On the work front, aespa is set to perform in Sydney as part of the world tour SYNK: Parallel Line on August 31.
